The Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) Foundation proudly announces the addition of four distinguished leaders to its Board of Directors. Mr. Stuart Butler, Mr. Phillip “Le” Hendrick, Jr., Mrs. Alison Hudson, and Mrs. Priya Patel began their three-year terms of service on July 1, 2025.

Stuart Butler, President of Visit Myrtle Beach at the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, brings extensive expertise in tourism marketing and community leadership, including his role as chair of the Myrtle Beach COVID Taskforce.

Phillip “Le” Hendrick, Jr. serves as Director of Emergency Management & Safety and Fire Chief for the City of Conway, in addition to holding leadership roles with the Conway Chamber of Commerce, educational foundations, and advisory boards throughout the region.

Alison Hudson, Agency Manager for My Carolina Insurance, is actively engaged in the community through her leadership with the Grand Strand Walk to End Alzheimer’s, as well as her involvement in civic, athletic, and faith-based organizations.

Priya Patel is Controller for Southern Crown Partners, where she manages operations across 10 locations and contributes her financial expertise as a member of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber Financial Review Committee.
