Facing financial hurdles? Our Emergency Loan Assistance provides quick, discreet support to help you focus on your studies without stress.
Students in need can apply for emergency loans of up to $500 through the Financial Aid office. These loans are intended to quickly address unforeseen expenses and must be repaid within 45 calendar days.
Emergency loans can be used for urgent costs such as car repairs, medical bills, or unexpected housing moves. Please note, funding is limited and students are eligible for only one emergency or book loan per academic year.

The HGTC Pantry is a confidential resource available to all current students and staff, offering access to non-perishable food and personal care items. We are committed to addressing food insecurity and supporting the well-being of everyone in the HGTC family.
Students and staff can visit the pantry during open hours to select food and personal care items. Confidential requests can be submitted via email to [email protected], including your name and H-number. Our team will arrange a convenient pick-up time. First-time users are required to complete a short application before receiving assistance.
