About the Scholarship

Originally established in 1991 by the Palmetto Golf Course Superintendents Association and merged with the Dora J. Alexander Scholarship, which honors the memory of Mrs. Alexander, in July of 2000.

Eligibility Criteria

1) Must be enrolled in the Golf & Sports Turf
Management program.
2) Must be a second-year student.
3) Must be a resident of Horry or Georgetown County.
4) Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
