Established in 2003 by the Nelson Family of Myrtle Beach, SC, to honor the memory of Dr. Richard Nelson, a Loris Radiologist who was instrumental in establishing the Radiologic Tech Associate program at HGTC.
1) Must be enrolled in the Radiologic Technology
Program.
2) Must be a resident of Horry, Georgetown,
or Marion County.
3) Must be a second-year student.
4) Must be a full-time student.
5) Must show dedication to the profession.
6) Must have outstanding class and clinic attendance.
Candidates may reapply for the scholarship if the GPA of 3.0 has been maintained during the previous scholarship semester.
