About the Scholarship

Established in January 2019 by Horry Electric Cooperative,
Inc. In honor of Kevin L. Gore who was an AL Lineman and Serviceman for Horry Electric Cooperative for over 35 years. Kevin was a remarkable employee that was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Eligibility Criteria

1) Must be enrolled in the Electrical Lineman program.
2) Must be a graduate of an Horry County
High School.
3) Must reside in an Horry Electric service area and be a member of their Cooperative.
