About the Scholarship

Established in 2008 by contributions from the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Foundation and the proceeds of the annual HGTC Foundation Black Tie Gala. The name was changed in 2013 to honor Mr. & Mrs. Hirsh who serve on the HGTC Foundation board of directors and have worked tirelessly on behalf of the college.

Eligibility Criteria

1) Must be enrolled in the Culinary Arts program;
2) Must have earned 24 credit hours in major.
3) Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or greater.
4) Must write an essay detailing his or her career goals, qualifications, and why they have chosen
Culinary Arts as a career.
5) Must have participated in school or
community service events.
