Students Receive Tool Kits

The HGTC Foundation is proud to celebrate two Mechatronics students who recently received professional tool kits made possible through the SC Student Loan Corporation and the Persistence Fund. These tool kits, valued for their high-quality equipment and industry relevance, will support students as they continue their hands-on training and prepare for successful careers in advanced manufacturing.

The recipients were selected based on their dedication, progress, and commitment to completing their Mechatronics program. Both students have demonstrated strong academic performance and a clear passion for the technical skills required in fields such as automation, robotics, and electromechanical systems.

The tool kits include essential instruments and equipment used by industry professionals, giving the students a significant head start as they enter the workforce. For many students, acquiring these tools can pose a financial challenge, making this support especially impactful.

The SC Student Loan Corporation and the Persistence Fund continue to expand access to resources that help students remain enrolled, complete their programs, and enter high-demand fields with confidence. Their investment in student success not only empowers individual learners but also strengthens South Carolina’s workforce and economic future.

The HGTC Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to the SC Student Loan Corporation and the Persistence Fund for their commitment to students and for recognizing the importance of supporting those pursuing technical and skilled-trades education.

These tool kits are more than equipment, they are an investment in the future of two hardworking HGTC students who are now better equipped to succeed in their careers and contribute to our community.
