The Automotive Mechanic Program at HGTC is a response to the growing national demand for skilled-trade professionals, especially within the automotive service industry. Automotive technicians play a crucial role in ensuring public safety and keeping the economy in motion. The National Automobile Dealers Association highlights a consistent need for approximately 76,000 new automotive technicians annually to meet the industry’s demands.

This program addresses the critical shortage of skilled technicians and prepares students for the complexities of modern automotive technology, significantly contributing to the future of the automotive service industry.
