Advancing healthcare education with enhanced facilities and state-of-the-art training environments at the Grand Strand Campus.
Renovation and expansion are in progress at the Grand Strand Campus with Building 100 undergoing a transformation to support Health Science programs. This $15 million project will develop a 20,000 square-foot training area aimed at fostering innovation and training opportunities by 2025.
The expansion will enhance our facilities, increasing healthcare student enrollment and introducing new programs. It will create a state-of-the-art, technology-enhanced simulation environment that mirrors modern healthcare settings and provide extensive professional development opportunities, fostering greater educational and industry collaboration.
The new center will house programs such as Emergency Medical Services, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and Vascular Sonography. The relocation of medical imaging programs to Building 100 will free up space for new offerings like Occupational Therapy Assistant and Medical Lab Technology.
